Volunteering at Ganondagan

Ganondagan is a place of community that thrives because of our dedicated volunteers. Throughout the year, hundreds of people generously give of their time and talent in many enriching ways. By volunteering at Ganondagan, you will have a unique opportunity to learn about Seneca and Haudenosaunee history, culture, and living traditions.

Husking Bee

Saturday, 10/28/2023 10 AM - 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM - 4 PM

It's that time of year! Ganondagan's White Corn has been harvested from the field and it's time to get it ready for storage. Husking happens in the barn, so please dress warmly as the barn is drafty. Also, it is helpful to bring work gloves, gardening loppers, and a utility knife if you have them.
